Educators Oppose the Senate R Budget

3/21/2017

The nonsensical Republican budget released today will increase class sizes, reduce funding for special education students, and eliminate COLAs. Check out the link to see what WEA President Kim Mead had to say about it at today's hearing.

Then contact your legislators to tell them, "No way! The Governor's budget fully funds our public schools. WA kids have a right to an amply funded education."

The Snoqualmie Valley School District is part of the 5th LD which is represented by Rep. Paul Graves, Rep. Jay Rodne, and Sen. Mark Mullet.

-Email our legislators at: Paul.Graves@leg.wa.gov, Jay.Rodne@leg.wa.gov, and Mark.Mullet@leg.wa.gov.

-Call the Legislative Hotline at: 800-562-6000.

-Text "OurVoice" to 41411 to sign up for text updates and keep up with what's happening in the Legislature.
