Nate Ziemkowski (SES), Lisa Radmer (NBES), Tony Manjarrez (CKMS), and Lynn Bradwell (CKMS) attended the Statewide Bargaining Conference on February 7-8.
It's still 2015 and our current contract lasts through August 31, 2016. But our SVEA bargaining team is already preparing for negotiations. Last Saturday and Sunday, 4 SVEA members attended the Statewide Bargaining Conference in at Mount Rainier High School in Des Moines.

In addition to hearing about using research and data to prepare for the bargain, they also learned how to engage members. They're already planning how to involve members leading up to and during negotiations so that the final agreement is one that addresses the needs of your family and your students. Stay tuned for more information about how to get involved in the bargaining process.

SVEA will be ready! Will the district?
